PLANT BASED DIET SERVED!

During most of our retreats in Scotland, we serve mainly plant based foods. Plant-based or plant-forward eating patterns focus on foods primarily from plants. This includes not only fruits and vegetables, but also nuts, seeds, oils, whole grains, legumes, and beans. It doesn't mean that you are vegetarian or vegan and never eat meat or dairy. Rather, you are proportionately choosing more of your foods from plant sources. Plant-based diets offer all the necessary protein, fats, carbohydrates, vitamins, and minerals for optimal health, and are often higher in fiber and phytonutrients.(Source: Harvard Health)

FUSION STYLE:
Food served at our retreats are known as FUSION STYLE meals. We draw on international flavours. We adopt varied cooking techniques including. smoking, baking, boling, sauteeing, mixing and grilling the vegetables. We use diverse seasonings to create taste bud awakening flavours that will delight you.

FRUITS:
Fruits served includes berries, citrus fruits, pears, peaches, pineapple, bananas, tagerines, red grapes, plantain, coconut, guava, etc.

VEGETABLES SERVED:
Cavalaro kale, red & green cabbage, spinach, tomatoes, broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, asparagus, peppers, red onions, long red peppers, white onions, Shallots, etc. Starchy vegetables includes: potatoes, sweet potatoes, yams, butternut squash, Carrots, etc.

WHOLE GRAINS SERVED:
Whole grains served includes: Basmatic rice, brown rice, rolled oats, farro, quinoa, brown rice pasta, barley, etc

Our Typical Seasoning Ingredients!

Garlic, Ginger, lemon, Paprika, Chives, Parsely, Curry, Rosemary, Thyme, Oregano, Basil, Turnmeric, Celery, Organic birds Eye Chilli, Sea Salt, Iodised Salt, Hydrogenated palm fat, wheat flour (contains gluten) yeast extract, onion, parsely spices & Spice preparations.

Basmatic Rice, Shitake Mushrooms, Red Onions, White Onions, Shallots, Curry, Black beans, Spring Onion & Garlic.

MEALS PER DAY

We are pleased to confirm that we will serve you three meals a day including free drinks, fruits and coffee in between.

Please note that on cruises, anchored boats and at international destinations, our providers may serve meat and seafood options on their menu or buffet offered.

DRINKS SERVED:
Spring water, selection of fruit juices, Coffees, selection of teas, etc.

WINE SERVED:
champagne: Served on arrival and departure only.
Non-Alcoholic Wines: Served at dinner daily. A Mixture of Non-Alcoholic Blanc, Rouge, Sparkling White Wine, Sparkling Rose, Rinot Grigio, & Shiraz Blend.

Mushroom Served

Oyster mushroom, Shiitake mushrooms & Chesnut Mushrooms.

The objective is to keep you healthy, well nourished, in spite a better eating habit and send yu back home feeling lighted and we an improved gut and bowel movement.

By Law The 14 mandatory allergens are: Cereals containing gluten, crustaceans, eggs, fish, peanuts, soya beans, milk, nuts, celery, mustard, sesame seeds, sulphur dioxide & sulphites, Lupin & Mollusc. Allergens that are contained in the products listed ingredients are highlighted in bold. Please take note of them. Products may be subject to some variation depending on ingredients used, supplier & seasons of the year. Therefore products described above may vary slightly at times. [We exclusively eliminate all seafoods, including Molluscs & similar others]

We are not responsible for any allergic or adverse reactions you may have to common cooking salt including sodium chloride, sea salt, including Table salt, Fluer De Sal, Kosher salk, Caltic Sea Salt, Flake salt, Pink salt, Black salt, Reds salt, Brining salts, Flavoured salts & Black lava salt. If you are allergic to any salts or crystaline cooking ingredients, it is your duty to notify us in advance. We accept no liability from accidental poisoning due to salt allergy.
